Press-in
studs
Threads in sheet metal.
Mechanically secured.
Mechanically secured.
Press-in threaded studs create fastening points through cold forming of the sheet metal. Explore the BFH / BFHS / BFHA / BFH4 and BHFH / BHFHS families with their original data sheets.

Joint principle
Press in.
Anchor securely.
During press-in installation, sheet material is displaced into the serrations and undercut of the fastener. In addition to thread and stud length, selection depends on sheet material, hardness, thickness and the prepared hole.
The data sheet for the type.
Installation dimensions and permissible sheet hardness differ by version. Use the data sheet for the selected product family; a similar type designation does not mean identical installation conditions.

Standard versions and versions for higher load capacity, with direct access to technical documents.
BFH / BFHS
/ BFHA / BFH4

Press-in threaded studs in various versions: BFH in steel, BFHS in stainless steel and BFHA in aluminium. Selection, including BFH4, is based on material, sheet hardness and the data sheet.
BHFH / BHFHS

Press-in threaded studs for higher load capacity. BHFH in through-hardened steel and BHFHS in stainless steel; installation and load specifications depend on type.
Special parts
to drawing
If a standard version does not meet your requirements, we assess a custom solution based on your drawing and installation situation.
For your enquiry
Determine the
right version.
01
Sheet metal
Specify material, sheet thickness and hardness. Coating and subsequent surface treatment are also relevant.
02
Dimensions
Define thread size, stud length, hole and edge distances using your drawing.
03
Loading
Describe the required loading and installation situation. Pull-out force and torque resistance must suit the application.
04
Installation
Coordinate accessibility, tooling and the intended press-in installation. Installation values are given in the relevant documents.
