CNC 2000 x 1000 – production of enclosure components for commercial kitchens
Combine processing steps in one system
The CNC system concept is suitable for enclosure components used in commercial kitchens and in control cabinet and enclosure manufacturing. Programmed welding points are approached automatically with repeatable accuracy. This reduces manual positioning work and the need for templates and stops.
Additional modules matched to the component
Prepare the surface
An integrated milling motor machines anodised or galvanised sheet metal locally at the welding position. It selectively removes or scores the anodic oxide or zinc layer. The studs are then welded – with or without a spraying unit, depending on the application.
Reduce welding spatter
A spraying unit can be used for semi-automatic and fully automatic welding. Before CNC welding, a short control pulse applies a fine water mist to the welding position. The film of water reduces spatter adhesion and the surrounding spatter ring; any remaining spatter is easier to remove.
Hold sheet metal in a defined position
One or more pneumatic hold-down clamps press large-format sheets against the worktable. This improves repeatable workpiece position and height, even when the sheet is sagging or bowed. Bowing and vibration are reduced.
Additional processes and modules are matched to the component and production task. The key technical data below refer to the commercial kitchen example system shown.
