ATP-8M/ATP-8K automatic welding guns

The ATP-8M and ATP-8K are automatic welding guns for semi-automated and automated stud welding applications with medium to high production volumes.

The ATP-8M is designed for drawn arc, short-cycle drawn arc and gap-type capacitor discharge welding. An integrated displacement measurement system records relevant process variables such as stud protrusion, lift, plunge depth and piston speed, supporting monitoring of the welding process.

The ATP-8K is designed for contact-type capacitor discharge welding. On request, this version can also be equipped with a displacement measurement system.

Precise plain-bearing guidance of the gun piston supports high stud positioning accuracy. The robust construction is designed for industrial use. Welding elements can be fed manually through a hand insertion tube or automatically using the BZ-V01 stud feeding system.
